新北市中和區今（26日）下午1時許發生一起墜樓事件，一名87歲老翁將自己反鎖在4樓廁所內，室友80歲朱男要進入洗手間時聽到巨響，又發現廁所門深鎖無法進入，馬上向值班護理人員反映，但安養中心人員破門時，老翁已往下跳，來不及阻止憾事發生。
安養中心員工表示，老翁上周也曾有跳樓自殺舉動，但經大家勸阻後，他答應「以後不會再亂來了」，未料，老翁的朱姓室友今要進入洗手間時，聽聞巨響，門又打不開，經通報人員破門，發現老翁已經墜樓輕生，躺在1樓防火巷內血泊中。
警消獲報到場，老翁已經失去生命跡象，鑑識人員在現場拉起封鎖線，並通知死者家屬到案，將釐清老翁墜樓原因。
