〔記者邱書昱／新北報導〕新北市中和區有多處路段施作捷運環狀線工程，市府捷運工程局在工程期間，一併辦理周邊人行道改善工程，已完成景平路的行人友善步行空間，並增加機車停車格及規劃卸貨區等，也在景平路、中正路口，及大漢橋往新莊方向的思源路、中正路交叉口裝設電子倒數看板，為今年底的通車作業進行倒數。
捷運工程局長李政安表示，導入大眾運輸導向發展效益（ＴＯＤ）概念，以捷運建設帶動周邊的區域及經濟發展，並透過捷運站周邊的人行道重新規劃與更新，提供民眾更舒適便利的使用空間，更新改善工程包括人行道拓寬，將電箱從人行道移至中央分隔島，也規劃機車停車格與卸貨區，並為汽機車和行動不便的人士增設斜坡道。
