警方調查，林、李兩人皆在中和區復興街附近擺攤，日前就因攤商問題爭吵，21日狹路相逢，兩人便當街扭打，林男從口袋掏出鑰匙，往李男頭部攻擊，當場血流如注，一旁民眾嚇得趕緊報案，林男也被警方依殺人未遂罪嫌帶回。
雙方到警局製作筆錄時，皆不願意提起為何發生嫌隙，僅不斷責備對方。由於林男攻擊李男頭部，造成頭部穿刺傷，警訊後依殺人未遂送辦；另外林男堅稱遭李男打傷，對李男提起傷害告訴，警方訊後將兩人雙雙法辦。
