〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕新北市汐止未滿月龍鳳胎男嬰，本月23日被檢查出克沙奇B1型腸病毒併發重症，為新北市今年首例腸病毒併發重症，經過治療後已有改善，仍在住院觀察當中。新北衛生局呼籲，雖然現在並非腸病毒流行期，但病毒感染力強，家長還是要多加注意。
綜合媒體報導，男嬰在8日出生後，於11日高燒39度而且併發心肌炎、腦膜炎，生命跡象不穩定，他的龍鳳胎姊姊則在兩天後發生類似症狀。初步檢驗男嬰疑似感染克沙奇B1型，好在心肌炎和腦炎的症狀已穩定下來，男嬰家人、醫院醫護與嬰兒室內其他幼兒都沒有不適情形。
新北市衛生局疾病管制科長許玉芬表示，目前並非腸病毒流行期，但病毒傳染性強，家庭和托育機構都容易傳播，5歲以下嬰幼兒是重症高危險群。許玉芬呼籲，家長們外出返家後，要餵食、摟抱嬰兒之前，應先更衣並以肥皂正確洗手。
