新北市新莊區1名莊姓男子因缺錢花用，進把歪腦筋動到計程車上，利用路邊石頭敲破車窗後拿走車內財物，短短9分鐘內就犯下兩案得手1700元，將計程車當成ATM提款，直到被害司機隔天要上班才發現報案，警方循線抓到莊男，將他依竊盜罪嫌函送法辦。
警方調查，涉嫌偷竊的33歲莊姓男子有多項前科，今年6月才騎乘姐姐的機車，從台北跑到新北市新莊老街偷竊，犯案時還會戴手套避免留下指紋，可說是相當狡猾，這一次連被害人停在自己騎樓內的計程車也下手。
警方連日調閱監視器，發現莊姓男子涉嫌重大，日前將他傳喚到案，莊男坦承犯行，供稱是因為公司倒閉，老闆沒錢發薪水，為了生活只好竊計程車內財物，訊後將他依照竊盜罪嫌函送法辦。
