警方到場調查，陳男並無酒駕，駕照也正常無異狀。陳男向警方供稱，倒車沒有注意，才會撞毀路燈桿，燈桿倒地也連帶扯落電線，造成交通一度無法中斷，目前都已排除，詳細車禍原因仍待釐清。
