〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕有外國觀光客日前在新北市淡水享用日本料理，結帳時知道店家要另收一成服務費後變臉，認為收費標示太小沒看到，還表示店家不該強迫客人付小費，最後店家只好妥協不收。
綜合媒體報導，一對外國觀光客情侶到淡水餐廳用餐，但結帳時，不接受店家除了用餐消費以外，還要外加一成服務費，認為強制收取服務費是不合理的，而且菜單上標明要額外收服務費的字太小，看不清楚，店家溝通無效後只好免收。
在台灣，許多餐廳都要求加收一成服務費，國外用餐也有付小費給服務生的文化。究竟收10%服務費究竟合不合理，網友表示「10%服務費也是進老闆口袋」、「定價+10%服務費，意思就是把5%營業稅+2%營所稅轉嫁給消費者」，也有網友認為「如果是真的給服務生我願意給」。
