新北市泰山區泰林路3段10巷內一間鐵皮機車零件工廠，3日凌晨3時許，冒出陣陣濃煙，民眾見到濃煙，馬上通報警方，警消到場後發現鐵皮屋內冒出大量濃煙，並有明顯火光，由於廠內堆放大量易燃的機車零件及漆桶，消防隊員立即拉出水線灌救，火勢在20分鐘內就被撲滅，燃燒面積大約20平方公尺，所幸最後沒造成任何人傷亡，至於詳細起火原因，新北市消防局第二大隊大隊長陳志德認為，還要等火勢完全熄滅後，火調人員才能進入工廠進行調查。
