〔記者邱書昱／新北報導〕國道三號樹林交流道開通後，每到上下班的交通尖峰時段，交流道口與樹林區佳園路三段就塞車、回堵，市府新建工程處在佳園路三段九十九巷進行道路延伸工程，昨完工通車，可直行經過四號涵洞連接柑園街二段二○三巷，疏散交流道附近的壅塞車流。
新工處指出，延伸道路的起點位於樹林南下交流道與佳園路三段的交接處，沿國道三號北側邊坡旁興築，經過樹林二號、三號涵洞，並於四號涵洞處銜接到柑園街二段二○三巷，全長約一○二七公尺、寬四．一公尺，採單行道通行，引導進入三鶯地區方向的車流，紓解佳園路三段的塞車問題。
此外，位於該路段終點處、原本三至五公尺寬的既有道路，也將拓寬到六公尺，長度約有六十六公尺，工程經費約四一八○萬元。
