新北市三重區某高中今（17日）凌晨傳出火警，警消到場後發現資源回收教室旁的塑膠籃冒出濃煙，迅速將火勢撲滅，無人傷亡。但有民眾目擊表示「剛剛看到有人縱火！」警方調閱監視器，果然發現一名25歲劉姓男子涉有重嫌，循線將他逮捕，而男子到案後則直言「我的朋友在這裡被欺負，我就是很討厭這間高中」！
警方調閱監視畫面發現，劉男凌晨時先是騎著機車到住家附近加油站，拿寶特瓶購買汽油，隨後跑到集美街玫瑰公園，向公園旁的高中扔擲點燃的汽油瓶，火勢當場竄升，而他案後則迅速逃離現場。
據了解，男子因為朋友向他抱怨遭此校高中學生欺負，他自己就讀此高中期間也有不愉快回憶，新仇舊恨夾雜，才會想替朋友伸張，在畢業多年後回校替朋友報仇。劉男到案後坦承犯案，員警訊後將他依公共危險罪嫌送辦。
