新北市家住樹林區的74歲邱姓老翁，本月1日早上9時許載著17歲孫女準備到板橋買手機，未料行經溪崑國中附近時，卻疑因該地無路口號誌，導致他未注意路況，遭1輛直行汽車撞上，機車上2人被撞飛，邱翁當場失去生命跡象送醫不治，17歲孫女也在急救4天後宣告死亡。
邱翁雙載機車與翁女（47歲）駕駛的自小客車發生碰撞後，機車上2人飛出，邱翁受到強大撞擊力，右大腿骨折，全身多處擦傷，當場失去呼吸、心跳等生命跡象，送醫後不治。後座孫女昏迷送醫，經搶救雖一度恢復生命跡象，但仍因頭部受到重創出血，在4天後宣告不治。
警方經檢測，機車與汽車雙方酒測值皆為0，這起車禍機車方向為支線道，理應禮讓幹道的汽車先行通過，但由於雙方都有未注意之處，詳細肇事責任比例仍待警方調查後釐清。
