新北市一名林姓男子今（8日）上午7時許上班時間，駕駛賓士從土城往板橋方向行駛，行經板橋四川路一段右轉忠孝路後，因不明原因直接撞上忠孝路旁的電線桿，讓電線桿當場被撞歪，交通也一度受影響，男子車輛在事故後車頭嚴重毀損，起火燃燒，警消獲報到場趕緊滅火救人。
林姓男子向警方供稱，當時右轉後，不知道為什麼，就突然恍神一下，下一秒就撞上忠孝路旁的電線桿了。男子肇事不但撞歪電線桿，也造成車頭全毀，事故後車輛更起火燃燒。
警消獲報到場後，迅速撲滅火勢，並將林姓駕駛救出送醫，他左腳因事故受傷，所幸送醫急救後已無大恙。林姓駕駛經酒測測得酒精濃度為0，事故肇事祥細原因尚待釐清。
