新北市八里區下罟子一間檳榔攤日前遭竊，一名騎單車的男子，趁深夜1時許，竟然以怪力徒手扳彎檳榔攤鐵窗，再從外爬近店內打開電燈大膽行竊，得手1萬2千元現金及價值8千元的香菸、啤酒後再騎著腳踏車逃逸，被害人調閱監視器將畫面PO網警告附近店家，該嫌犯已經涉嫌多起竊盜案。
警方表示，根據監視器畫面比對，這名怪力男疑似與日前龍源地區的檳榔攤竊案為同一人，目前已掌握這名竊嫌身分，該嫌偷遍北台灣，是桃園地區相當有名的慣竊，居無定所行蹤成謎，也未在犯案現場採集到指紋，警方目前仍在追緝當中。
