新北市溫姓一家四口昨（9日）晚間9時許結束桃園餐敘開車返家途中，行經八里區中山路3段時，因不明原因自撞路邊山壁，導致車輛向左傾倒翻覆，現場滿是殘骸，55歲溫姓駕駛受困車內。警消到場緊急將車內4人救出送醫，但駕駛仍傷重宣告不治。
警方調查，溫姓駕駛有高血壓、心臟裝支架等病史，他昨晚開車載著妻小3人到桃園參加朋友餐敘，晚上9時許聚會結束準備開車返回八里住處，未料才經過八里焚化爐沒多久，車輛就在中山路3段上自撞山壁翻車。
溫姓一家人翻車後，有熱心重機騎士馬上上前協助脫困。警消獲報到場，也出動油壓剪破壞車體，救出溫姓駕駛及其家人，分別送往淡水馬偕及台北榮總醫治，溫妻與2子身上受多處擦傷，無生命危險，溫男則傷重不治。
警方事後對溫男抽血測得酒精值為0，調閱車上行車紀錄器發現未開啟錄影，現場監視器也沒拍到畫面，已請現場2位目擊證人協助製作筆錄，釐清車禍肇事原因。
