〔記者蔡政珉／苗栗報導〕苗栗縣苑裡鎮台一線介壽路今天凌晨4點多發生一起「連環車禍」。台中市大甲區23歲林姓男子開車載友人返回苑裡鎮住處時，疑似因路況不熟，突然撞到一輛停在路邊的自小客車，之後挨撞的自小客車再撞往一旁住宅鐵門，讓車主感嘆「金衰」，肇事車輛車頭也撞毀，附近住戶被突如其來的巨大聲響吵醒。
警方調查後，發現林男並無酒駕，應該是路況不熟或一時未注意路況肇事，後續賠償交由保險公司負責。不過，無獨有偶，苑裡鎮本月初121縣道社苓里路段也曾發生一起「保齡球」車禍，讓趕往救難的民間人員直說好巧。
警方呼籲，夜間駕車務必注意身體狀況，請勿疲勞駕駛，否則釀成重大事故，後果不堪設想。
