〔記者蔡政珉／苗栗報導〕苗栗縣苑裡鎮山腳蔡氏濟陽堂，超過一百八十年歷史，苗栗縣政府指定為縣定古蹟，歷經一年多修復後完工，苗縣府文化觀光局上網招標，邀請團隊進駐活化，惟已二度流標，苗縣府將準備第三次招標程序。
苗縣府文觀局文化資產科指出，縣府兩度招標時都盡力邀標，但最後卻無人投標，讓人遺憾，推估可能一年租金超過四十萬，且文化專業團隊較少， 或許是無人投標原因。
文觀局表示，相傳山腳蔡氏濟陽堂祖先於乾隆初年自中國福建渡海來台，先至豐原經商，致富後遷居至苑裡山腳，並購置田地，亦商亦農、富甲一方，蔡家第二代子孫高中貢生後，即聘中國唐山師傅建造濟陽堂，結構主體左右兩旁各蓋護龍相連，屬傳統閩南合院式建築。
