炎炎夏日玩水消暑，苗栗縣最清涼的海水浴場6日開幕！為振興地方經濟，通霄鎮公所6月起自行營運流標多次的通霄海水浴場，經過1個月試營運期，昨日與馬卡龍超跑車隊合作舉辦「2019海洋沙灘公益大會師」，200輛超跑匯聚成大道配上比基尼辣妹助陣，現場熱鬧滾滾。
海水浴場開幕式結合超跑公益活動獨步苗縣，也創下近年超跑集結規模最大紀錄，馬卡龍車隊創會長嚴安禎指出，5年前為改變民眾對超跑違規競速等負面刻板印象，創立車隊宗旨就是開心做公益，曾3度來訪通霄，今年首次移師大型活動，除帶動地方發展，募集款項不經手車隊，直接捐給阿斌哥大愛協會。
馬卡龍車隊會長周鑫宏表示，一年一度的公益活動選在通霄舉辦，在鎮公所支持下，號召全台有心做公益的超跑車主將愛車運到此地，不收門票進行靜態展示，並安排公益大使選拔，民眾花100元認購貼紙支持心儀的比基尼女郎，票數最高的前3名有優渥獎金，除了超跑，現場也有60多輛重機共襄盛舉。
