〔記者蔡政珉／苗栗報導〕苗栗縣50歲宋姓男子，今天中午12點多開車行經苗栗縣通霄鎮圳頭里一處農路時，疑似因為上午下大雨後道路泥濘、濕滑，車子失控直接「犁田」摔落1米深的田裡，宋男爬出車外後由吊車將車子吊起，所幸人車均安。
警方目前對宋男製作筆錄，由於宋男無酒駕事發當時天候狀況良好，初步研判應該是道路狀況濕滑導致事故。警方也呼籲，近來常有雨勢，民眾開車時務必注意，經過山區或農路時更要注意道路狀況，免發生事故。
