〔記者彭健禮／苗栗報導〕苗栗縣47歲林姓男子，今天上午駕駛小貨車行經獅潭鄉竹木村一處山區產業道路，連人帶車翻落10公尺深山坡，經消防人員採用繩索救援，將他救出送醫。
苗栗縣消防局今天上午8點55分接獲報案，指獅潭鄉竹木村烏石壁一處產業道路，有1輛小貨車翻落邊陂。消防局出動獅潭、大湖、特搜等消防分隊前往救援。
因山區大車無法到達，現場熱心民眾，協助使用繩索固定小貨車，協助林男脫困，再使用長背板、頭部外傷、初步救護處置後，抬下山區150公尺遠的救護車停車處，接駁送醫。
警、消初步了解，林男為當地人，他上午駕駛小貨車，準備整理果園，卻因道路狹小、不慎翻落；林男頭、腳有撕裂傷，經送醫包紮後，已無大礙。
