〔記者彭健禮／苗栗報導〕1輛預拌混凝土車，今天上午10點多，行經苗栗縣苗48線道路三義端路段，疑因沒有注意到車體過高，勾到上方纜線，搞倒3根水泥燈桿，其中2根水泥桿連根扯倒，水泥桿橫倒路面，佔據一方向車道，另有1根傾倒在預拌混凝土車上，幸好沒有造成人員受傷。
三義鄉公所秘書吳樹秋表示，被撞倒的水泥桿，是公所的路燈桿，已請路燈廠商前往排除，之後再重新立桿，目前僅能單線雙向通車；預拌混凝土車駕駛肇事後，主動通報公所，也報警處理，並允諾會賠償事宜。
轄區三義分駐所員警獲報到場，發現有3根水泥桿傾斜、倒塌，因桿掛有中華電信公司的訊號纜線，已通知中華電信人員到場協助，目前該路段為單線雙向通行，請用路人行經留意。
