入秋柿子熟了 南庄甜柿季開跑

〔記者鄭名翔/苗栗報導〕入秋柿子熟了,南庄甜柿正可口。每年10月中旬至年底為甜柿盛產季,今年由於梅雨季豪雨影響,甜柿收成大減5成,但南庄因溫差大,氣候得宜,甜柿依然又脆又甜,口感不受影響,目前南庄老街水汴頭旁已有15個攤位開賣甜柿,遊客走訪老街之餘也不要錯過嘗鮮。

現在遊南庄老街,已可看到水汴頭旁有32家柿農、擺設15個攤位,大力促銷甜柿,各地慕名而來的遊客試吃過都豎起大拇指,紛紛在攤位前挑選碩大澄黃的甜柿。柿農們也樂得一年辛勞終於收穫。預計下週會進入盛產期,可望吸引更多饕客嘗鮮。

南庄鄉公所觀光事業課課長吳炯毅表示,今年甜柿因受6月梅雨季的豪雨影響,產量大不如前,相較於去年約銳減5成,公所也向農委會申請天然災害補助,獲得165萬元經費,平均每公頃農地約可獲9萬元補貼,降低柿農損失。

南庄鄉農會推廣部主任楊文昌則說,今年雖受梅雨侵襲導致落果較多,但反而讓柿農集中照顧,使得甜柿依然保持又甜又脆的品質。

年過8旬的柿農阿婆則靦腆笑說,自己30多年來,每年最期盼看到橙黃甜柿收成,只要看到遊客吃下開心的表情就很滿足。

南庄鄉公所與農會也將在28、29日舉辦一年一度的南庄山水節路跑活動,禮品包括南庄米、木耳等地方農特產,同時搭配甜柿展銷,盼吸引更多遊客造訪南庄慢城,品嘗道地「南庄柿」。
