〔記者俞肇福／基隆報導〕基隆市暖暖區碇內鎮海宮今天早上10點半舉辦扛神轎過火儀式，來自全台各地友宮出動神尊共襄盛舉，現場圍觀大批信眾；火紅炙熱的煤炭冒著熱氣，神尊過火前，工作人員忙著撒粗鹽降溫，在「進喔」！「發喔」！聲中，轎夫扛著軟轎神尊，赤腳踩過炭火，完成神明過火、祈求地方四境安寧的祈福儀式。
基隆市議員陳江山、林明智與市政府秘書林旻勳也到場觀禮，現場觀眾對於信眾扛著神尊，赤腳踩在炙熱的煤炭上，卻沒有受傷，感到嘖嘖稱奇。
碇內鎮海宮宮主簡兩全表示，鎮海宮成立19年，宮內供奉羅、張、徐等共12千歲，羅府千歲指示救世、醒世、勸世任務，宮內並設置文教基金，幫忙家境清寒子弟就學；關於今天百人扛轎過火一事，簡兩全表示，神明會庇佑大家消災解厄闔家平安。
