新竹暴雨傳出災情，有學校自行宣布停課，也有民眾拍下超商門口出現小瀑布，黃水狂流，新竹培英國中的學生，更是光腳在課堂上課，教室內積水嚴重，校方對外堅持不願意透露校內情況，情況一度引人擔憂，就連電力也大受影響，台電說明，新竹縣湖口鄉、新豐鄉、關西鄉尚有約6500戶停電中，台電已動員所有人力投入搶修中，將儘快完成用戶復電。
