〔記者王駿杰／新竹報導〕靠近新竹市園區二路、國道1號南下交流道口，今早約8點發生連環車禍，一輛大貨車疑似未注意前方停等號誌，追撞前方3輛轎車，造成3傷1命危，消防人員獲報趕抵，將傷者送醫，車禍相關細節仍待警方釐清。
警方調查，國道1號連接園區二路的交流道匝道口設有交通燈號管制，37歲陳姓大貨車駕駛疑似未注意前方號誌變更，也未保持安全距離，直接撞上前方3輛轎車，目前已知有4名傷者，其中2人傷勢較重，謝姓男乘客送醫前無生命跡象，另名任姓女子左後腦也有撕裂傷，目前在院急救。
這起車禍一度造成交通堵塞，警方獲報立刻派員前往維持交通，車禍在稍早已排除。
