〔記者侯承旭／屏東報導〕今年上半年屏東縣的勞退新制雇主平均提繳工資為2萬8655元，居全國最低。
勞退新制從94年7月1日起實施，雇主應為適用勞基法之勞工按月提繳不低於其每月工資6%勞工退休金。
根據勞動部統計，今年上半年全台灣的勞退新制雇主平均提繳工資為3萬7454元，屏東縣最低僅2萬8655元，約全國平均值的七成六。
若與平均提繳工資最高的新竹市5萬4029元相比，屏東縣僅達新竹市的五成三。
屏東縣目前的勞退新制提繳事業單位共7737家，提繳人數為7萬8829人。
以今年6月份為例，屏東縣平均提繳工資最高的行業是電力及燃氣供應業，平均為7萬5129元，其次是運輸及倉儲業的3萬1584元；平均提繳工資最低的則是住宿及餐飲業，僅2萬4259元。
