警方調查，這起槍擊案發生在今天凌晨零時許，涉嫌開槍的吳姓男子疑不滿被害人糾眾到其經營的店家砸店，持槍前往被害人平日聚集地點談判，並開槍洩恨，造成陳姓被害人左臂中2槍、周姓被害人右臀1槍、陳姓被害人右臂1槍，3人送醫後幸無生命危險，吳姓男子則在開槍後開車逃逸。
警方指出，鑑識人員在現場採獲子彈5顆、彈頭1顆，並在吳姓男子所開的BMW車上採獲子彈1顆及彈殼1枚，台西警分局已組成專案小組偵辦中。
