〔記者陳燦坤／雲林報導〕寒害來了！歷經數日低溫，雲林沿海虱目魚暴斃嚴重，粗估至少8成因低溫凍僵，養殖業者首日估算損失至少十餘萬元，不僅魚貨價格下滑，養殖業者還得搶時間撈起新鮮魚貨，減少損失。
寒流來襲持續3天，口湖鄉虱目魚8成凍僵，許多養殖業者今天上午到魚塭察看，目睹整池的虱目魚翻白肚，心都涼了半截，部分生命力較旺盛的虱目魚在水面載浮載沈，魚尾仍掙扎擺動，試圖在凜冽的水溫找到生路，但浮出水面的虱目魚不斷增加，養殖業者心裡感到淌血。
養殖業者表示，之前一波寒流虱目魚損失僅1成，可是這波寒流持續3天，長期低溫再加上昨天低溫約8到9度，多數虱目魚無法耐寒，只能看著一條條魚凍僵，打撈上岸後便宜出售。
