雲林縣副縣長丁彥哲表示，自行車與步行是長輩主要行動方式，根據縣警局交通隊分析長輩車禍時段，以清晨、傍晚天色將明未明、將暗未暗最高，長輩外出除自已特別留意，穿著較鮮明衣物，最好能在自行車加裝反光條、警示燈，讓其他車輛能夠發現自己，確保安全。
今天宣導活動約有近百位長輩參加，雲林縣交通警察隊及雲林縣監理站在現場設攤，替長者腳踏車黏貼反光條與閃光警示燈，並宣導7月1日才剛上路的高齡者換照政策，維護長輩安全。
