〔記者詹士弘／雲林報導〕 100歲的媽媽不見了，怎麼辦？斗六市林姓男子慌張的走進斗六派出所報案，指出百歲媽媽一大早走出家門後未歸，怕她不認得路而走失！員警研判老婦人無交通工具，又是步行離家，因該離家不遠，果然在10分鐘後找回。
林姓男子表示，他家住萬年路，其母親一大早走出家門後未歸，因為母親已經100歲了，怕迷路走失，巡佐王文君、警員陳筱筑獲報後，研判老婦人年事已大，又是走路外出，應該走不遠，立刻前往老婦人住家附近尋找，果然不久後在斗六市鎮北路與斗六二路口尋獲滿頭白髮的林老夫人，並將老婦人載返回派出所。
警方表示，老人家記憶力退化，可能會有失智或是記性不好的情形，家屬最好的長輩身上佩帶防走失手鍊，民眾若在路上發現老人家有神情緊張、疲憊，或是長時間來回徒步的狀況，請速撥110或是斗六派出所05-5322130電話，報請警方協助。
