北港派出所警員江奕陵、林佳燕昨天下午巡邏行經義民、中正路口，停等紅燈時，對向一輛電動自行車闖紅燈迎面而來，員警將騎車男子攔下，發現男子滿身酒味、滿臉通紅，酒測值高達1.13毫克，將邱男帶回派出所偵辦。
北港分局長廖志明表示，電動自行車因免考照，已成為許多民眾代步工具，甚至也有孩童騎著上街，但電動車屬動力交通工具，酒後騎乘若酒測值達0.15到0.25毫克，可罰款300至600元，超過0.25毫克，即觸犯公共危險罪，仍會依法送辦，呼籲民眾勿存僥倖心態，酒後不要駕車，以免害人害己。
