縣長張麗善到場致意，因為這個戲院對北港太重要了，看看泛黃報紙，刊登的戲劇演出的場次時間，還有劇場票根，當年這裡可是天天爆滿，連楊麗花、鄧麗君都曾在這演出過。
檢視相片這個戲院不播電影，純演戲劇，是綜合型劇場，走過戲劇風華的那些年，也造就出電影海報漫畫師。
海報畫師許明雄說，「所以畫圖一定要畫像，男女主角若是畫不像，那廣告就會毀了。」
巧手畫彩色海報真的超復古，北港大復戲院活化，也能讓年輕人看看老劇場了解歷史文化。
