〔記者歐素美/台中報導〕潭子區是國內綠竹筍主要產區,公所為行銷竹筍,將於本月廿九日舉辦「二○一九潭子竹筍節」,邀請民眾到潭子區聯合辦公大樓廣場,健行、逛農特產品市集、闖關及體驗挖竹筍的樂趣;潭子區農會表示,今年受氣候影響,竹筍減產約三成,每台斤零售價格約八十元,較去年同期七十元高。

農業局與潭子區公所昨在潭子區聯合辦公大樓廣場舉行「二○一九潭子竹筍節」記者會,副市長楊瓊瓔、市議員蕭隆澤、徐瑄灃、賴朝國及潭子區農會總幹事林淑茵等皆出席。潭子區長林國聲表示,潭子盛產黃金麻竹筍、黃金綠竹筍、紅殼綠竹筍及烏殼綠竹筍,為推廣地方農產,今年擴大舉辦潭子竹筍節,希望透過活動,讓更多民眾了解地方的農特產。

「二○一九潭子竹筍節」將於廿九日上午七點有健行活動,帶領民眾漫步聚興山區;九點起在廣場則有竹筍闖關遊戲、在地農特產品市集,民眾憑消費集點還能體驗挖竹筍的樂趣,並把竹筍帶回家,舞台區還有精彩表演及摸彩。

潭子竹筍減三成 獨特砂質無苦味

潭子區農會表示,潭子區竹筍種植面積約一八○公頃,今年減產約三成,以烏殼綠竹筍為主,年產量約五七六萬公斤,產值約兩億三千萬元,每年四至十月是主要產期。潭子區獨特的砂質土壤,排水性良好,常年均溫在攝氏廿五度上下,地理位置具有避風特性,因此生產的綠竹筍品質優良,產量雖非全台最大,但生產的竹筍口感香甜、纖維細緻、無苦味,深受消費者喜愛,台中地區市售綠竹筍,幾乎都來自潭子區。

不過,農友劉萬成表示,今年受大雨影響,竹林泡水,致竹筍產量減少約三至四成,每台斤零售價格則較去年同期高出約十元。
