44歲的歐姓搶匪20日在台中沙鹿區合作金庫搶走121萬元，經警方連日追查，已於26日清晨在屏東長治鄉抓到他，還查獲一支烏茲衝鋒槍以及贓款20萬元。經初步了解，歐嫌供稱，是因為欠下千萬賭債，無力償還才會鋌而走險。

案發當天，歐嫌頭戴安全帽、頭巾遮臉，持槍走進沙鹿合作金庫內，對空鳴1槍後大喊「搶劫」，立即翻越櫃台，搜刮每個櫃檯桌面上現金，大約搶走121萬現金，放進自己準備的塑膠袋，接著騎機車逃逸，過程不到3分鐘。
警方指出，歐姓犯嫌有殺人、恐嚇等刑案資料，查出他藏匿在屏東縣長治鄉一帶，便於今天清晨展開逮捕行動，現場起獲犯案制式小烏茲衝鋒槍1支，制式子彈29顆及贓款新台幣20萬餘元，目前正在釐清涉案動機和槍枝來源。
歐嫌落網後初步供稱，因為欠下千萬賭債，根本無力償還，才鋌而走險，20日搶完銀行後就往高雄、屏東方向逃竄。
