〔記者張瑞楨／台中報導〕市議員楊典忠昨獲民眾通報會勘梧棲大排，又見掏空且嚴重龜裂現象，部分護堤還傾斜十五度，民眾抱怨梧棲大排六年來有三起護岸掏空事件，且梧棲大排兩旁為沙鹿與梧棲住宅密集區，他要求市府從頭檢驗梧棲大排兩旁護岸安全，不過，市府水利局卻說，這是排水的ＲＣＰ管脫落，護岸部分經目測檢視，並沒有損害。
楊典忠說，梧棲區中華路旁梧棲大排北側護岸人行道下陷深度過膝，長約一百多公尺裂縫，中段部分已傾斜約十五度，梧棲區公所目前以交通三角錐圍起塌陷處，並通報水利局搶修。
水利局勘查 護岸無礙
但水利局說，昨現場勘查，研判是道路排水的ＲＣＰ管脫落，造成人行道下的土壤被沖刷流失，導致人行道下陷，護岸經初步目測檢視並無損害。
