民政局統計，今年七夕情人節離婚卅三對，與結婚對數相當，創下近三年新高，而一樣是情人節，近三年西洋情人節當天竟無人離婚。北區戶政所主任陳佩玉分析，可能受到濃情密意的節日氛圍影響，感情特別好。
今年七夕情人節僅卅七對登記結婚，五二○有三百零四對、西洋情人節（二月十四日）有一百七十二對。
北區戶政所七夕有三對登記結婚，皆為外配，其中張姓夫妻是牛郎與織女的結合，台籍張先生與中國妻子兩年前已在當地結婚，今年終於團聚。
陳佩玉說，近年來年輕人結婚幾乎「無禁無忌」，只講究日子好記、有代表性，或是兩人生日登記結婚，五二○日子好記、好兆頭，成了最夯的結婚日。
