大甲媽祖遶境活動今天下午1點暫駐台中市議長服務處，將可鑽轎底、取壓轎金。（記者蘇金鳳攝）
〔記者蘇金鳳／台中報導〕「大甲媽祖遶境活動」已回鑾，今天將經過台中市龍井區，並於下午1點前會在台中市議長林士昌服務處停留，為迎接媽祖蒞臨，山腳里、龍泉里的志工媽媽及守望相助隊員，準備了豐盛的台灣特色小吃迎接，還安排鑽轎腳、取壓轎金。
林士昌服務處表示，為了讓年邁的母親順利鑽大甲媽轎腳，林士昌今年還是要再度背起中風的母親趴在地上一同鑽轎腳，祈求母親平安健康。
同時，為響應空污減量及垃圾等環保問題，服務處特別以聲光效果取代長串的鞭炮，希望以「媽祖心、環保情」的風貌恭迎媽祖聖駕。
地方志工動員300多人準備了特色小吃，包括東海割包、紅豆餅、霜淇淋、爆米花及3000人以上的葷素食，來盛情接待大甲媽信徒及參與的鄉親。
服務處表示，媽祖遶境這幾日，未趕上鑽轎腳的民眾，可於今天下午1時前往。
