〔記者張軒哲／台中報導〕今日小年夜國道陸續湧現返鄉車潮，下午5時許，國道中山高北上后里路段出現火燒車意外，一輛小貨車疑似拋錨，駕駛趕緊將車停靠路肩，下車後車輛旋即起火，所幸無人傷亡。
國道警察局泰安分隊指出，今日5時左右，一輛小貨車行經中山高后里北上路段，於泰安服務區與后里交流道之間故障拋錨，駕駛緊急將車輛停靠路肩，詎料，車子冒煙起火，熊熊火焰引起用路人虛驚，所幸警消到場撲滅火勢，但車子已被燒成廢鐵。
泰安分隊指出，車內人員第一時間就下車，詳細事發原因有待調查釐清，呼籲用路人春節返鄉上路前，要多留意車況，以免發生意外。
