民進黨南投縣黨部主委陳昭煜表示，黃丹怡涉弊遭調查，事後以20萬元交保，有損黨內清廉形象，考量社會觀感，除立即建請黨中央給予「停止黨權」處分外，也不會以「現任優先」原則提名，未來民進黨恐也不會提名黃競選連任。
面對民進黨可能祭出停權處分，甚至不予提名參選，黃丹怡則回應，一切交給黨部處理，最終是否獲得提名，將待民進黨決定，但她「一定參選到底，請大家放心」！
