仁愛警分局說，昨天下午3點多，霧社到清境地區就開始無預警地停電，後來曾一度復電，但是不久即斷電，就這樣來回了兩三回，到晚上仍是停電。
仁愛鄉昨天下午天氣晴朗，斷電不是天氣因素造成，有業者懷疑是用電量太大造成，但台電人員說，初步研判並非用電量問題，可能有線路故障，已派人員上山檢修，希望儘快恢復供電。
