〔記者劉濱銓、佟振國/南投報導〕南投縣竹山鎮杉林溪春茶昨舉辦頒獎,今年春茶受極端天候影響,生長時乾旱,採收遇大雨,考驗製茶焙火技術,評鑑淘汰率達三十八%,高於以往的三成,在茶改場的把關下,品質、價格維持既有水準,並未因減產二成而出現波動;另外,仁愛鄉農會台灣高山茶王春茶競賽昨出爐,同樣受採製茶期多雨,淘汰率為四十三%,今年茶農修正以往過度烘焙缺點,更能呈現高山茶的清香風味特色。

仁愛43% 杉林溪估38%

竹山鎮農會表示,今年杉林溪春茶備受天氣考驗,先是生長期遇上嚴重暖冬乾旱,導致茶葉生長不佳,到了採收期,則是碰上連續降雨,使得茶葉含水較多,影響茶湯滋味,不僅春茶評鑑收件數從過去的一千多件跌掉六百多件,淘汰率也將近四成,整體產量也少了二成。

先旱後澇 考驗製茶技術

不過在茶改場評審的把關下,茶湯品質依舊維持圓潤回甘,價格也未漲價,從入圍等級的二朵梅,每台斤約一千五百元,到特等、頭等獎每斤分別為五萬、五千多元,今年新品種組特等獎為楊景韓,烏龍組特等獎為張俊宏。

仁愛鄉農會則指出,春茶比賽優良獎每斤三千六百元,特等、頭等獎分別為八萬、一‧八萬元,特等獎由柒采松獲得。

主審茶改場魚池分場長黃正宗說,乾旱對仁愛高山茶產量影響較小,但產期延後,以致有茶農趕不上比賽,五月採製茶期雨水較多,若茶菁走水不足,茶湯易有苦澀雜味,成為淘汰主因,特等獎與頭等一則是不相上下,經二次評比,特等的茶湯滋味飽滿圓潤,才脫穎而出。
