〔記者陳鳳麗／南投報導〕今年南投燈會最讓觀眾驚艷的銅梁火龍表演，明年初的燈會確定會再邀請，南投縣府保證表演和看台區會更完善，且從沙雕區到燈會已興建人行橋，將來不用穿越馬路，南投縣的人行步道或橋梁將再增一座。
南投縣府今天召開縣務會議，觀光處報告南投燈會的規劃，燈會區域擴大，且增加埔里第2水燈區，今年最讓大家驚豔的銅梁火龍，縣長林明溱保重，一定會再來表演，且檢討今年的場地，明年會再有更好的地點，並由看台區確保觀眾安全。
林明溱也說，明年燈會明政逛沙雕之後要到燈會區，會有人行專用橋供行走，上面會有燈飾布置，走在其上如同走入時光隧道。另外在橋下方將搭配水舞表演，增加可看性。
