〔記者佟振國、劉濱銓／南投報導〕7旬楊姓男子昨清晨5時30分被發現陳屍南投縣埔里鎮排洪道，經查疑為久病厭世而投水，遺體送往南投殯儀館待驗時，上午10時館內至少有3名員工目擊死者的腳突然抽動10多下，眾人以為死而復生，嚇得請求救護，消防局人員趕來確認已明顯死亡，檢方後來也相驗無誤，證實烏龍一場。
醫師︰應屬正常現象
南投醫院副院長兼急診室主任洪世昌表示，人自發性的呼吸心跳停止後，可能是細胞逐漸衰敗死亡產生的物理化學反應，或是環境溫度等因素，造成肢體的短暫顫動，應屬正常現象，但易被民眾誤解受驚。
廖大乙︰亡者想交代遺願
民俗專家廖大乙表示，死者死後突然流淚、抽動，一般來說比較常發生在親屬間，死者恐因意外死於非命，或有世間事要交代，透過「靈動力」示意，必須交代完遺言才能安心地走，目擊者是「幫忙轉達」而已，不用害怕。
