信義鄉農會分析原因，認為今年梅花花況雖好，但因花期長，早花早開、早落，加上賞梅季前、中期，仍有幾波雨勢，打壞早花梅果生長，才會影響之後的收成，甚至出現落果，導致梅果最終收成仍是減少。
不過相較去年跌到谷底、僅剩2成的產量，今年梅果仍是相對增加，但因各加工廠庫存早已用罄，市場上供不應求，恐再掀起一波搶購潮。
