南投縣鹿谷鄉因溪頭、杉林溪、妖怪村等風景據點良多，每逢星期假日遊客車潮多，對外唯一孔道延溪公路（一五一線）交通經常打結。
今年暑假以來，假日塞車問題更是嚴重。
昨日從鹿谷市區往溪頭方向的車陣更綿延十多公里，鄉民出入困難而抱怨不已。鄉長黃東灝說，接獲民眾電話後，了解塞車是因通往溪頭的內湖國小路段，有一部遊覽車拋錨才造成，下午一時許已排除狀況，交通恢復正常。
