南投這家蚵仔嗲,跟一般店家最大的差別,在於他們的炸漿是自己用糯米、豆子下去製作的,跟用粉下去炸的在口味上有明顯的差異性在,就算是冷掉,蚵嗲那酥酥的口感依舊,不會受到時間的影響而變軟爛。

來到這裡有一道是必吃的美食,老闆自己獨創的包葉扣仔嗲,用新鮮地瓜葉包入碎肉後,外面再裹粉下鍋油炸,外皮炸到金黃酥脆,小巧可愛的外觀,裡面的餡料可是不馬虎的,大口咬下,海洋的鮮味在口中蔓延,重點是吃起來不油膩,地瓜葉剛好可以抵消掉油炸的油膩感,吃蚵仔嗲又可以吃到青菜。這麼有創意的蚵仔嗲,老闆娘說,靈感來自老公的夢境。

老闆娘曾鳳嬌表示,「夢到仙女跟他說,你用那個地瓜葉下去做就可以了,他想一想就用地瓜葉,下去包蚵仔跟肉。」

作夢夢到的包葉扣仔嗲,一賣就是15年,已經成為南投當地的特色小吃。
