彰化縣和美鎮，彰新路4段附近一處保麗龍工廠，24日晚間7時許驚傳火警，目前警消已經派遣大量人員前往救災，詳細消息請待後續更新。

彰新路四段541巷一間200坪保麗龍工廠，24日晚間7時許廠房發生火災，火勢相當猛烈、黑煙直衝天際！因為工廠非常靠近民宅，消防人員不敢大意，出動了25輛消防車前往滅火，北彰化消防車幾乎全出勤。
消防人員抵達現場後，立刻拉水線嘗試控制火勢，避免火勢延燒波及鄰居，目前火災仍在搶救當中。
彰化網友回應，「彰師大進德路滿街都濃濃的焦味……。」、「又要聞毒氣了，希望大家平安。」、「陸陸續續聽了一個小時的消車聲，可怕。」、「很嚴重吧？住在附近我一直聽到消防車在過去的聲音。」
