大甲媽清晨抵溪州鄉水尾村震威宮，隨即沿台一線北上，7點30抵北斗鎮的壽安宮，鑾駕在此短暫停留，信徒爭相膜拜、鑽轎腳，8點20分起駕，沿巷弄小徑遶境，9點又回到台1線，轉往明道大學及埤頭鄉。
大甲媽中午會在埤頭合興宮短暫休息，再沿斗苑路回到北斗鎮，傍晚在北斗市區遶境。
過去幾天，氣候涼爽，隨行信徒走起來很舒服，根據中央氣象局氣候預報，今天中部地區氣溫飆升至30度，隨行民眾得有心理準備，接受毒辣太陽的考驗。
