三年前，宜蘭員山普門醫院，成了馬偕醫院結盟合作機構，只是有沒有授權使用「馬偕」，過去雙方似乎不曾正式討論，如今傳出沒經過授權，演變成官司糾紛。
檢視相片對此，宜蘭普門醫院院長強調潘仁修，已經在進行更換回原來醫院名稱的程序，招牌也陸續撤下了。
衛福部則強調，兩家醫院的確有合作關係，但普門醫院並非馬偕醫院分院，能不能冠上馬偕兩個字，只有馬偕醫院才能授權決定，而馬偕醫院，針對這起商標遭冒用案件，選擇不回應。
