檢方偵查期間，Y男坦承犯行，返還溢報的2萬7000多元，台北捷運局將他記過降級，起訴後移審台北地院，審理期間請辭獲准。
合議庭認為，Y姓主任擔任公職表現良好，因一時貪念誤入歧途，犯後自白犯行，應減輕其刑，依觸犯「利用職務機會詐取財物罪」判刑1年8月、緩刑2年，褫奪公權1年確定。
