［記者游明金／宜蘭報導］宜蘭縣28歲林姓男子，今天上午騎自行車到員山鄉雙連埤，下山途中，疑在下坡路段自摔倒地，頭部及身體多處擦傷送陽大附醫搶救仍告不治。
警方調查，今天清晨6時5分，宜蘭縣警察局勤務指揮中心據報，員山鄉隘界路台7丁2.5公里處（雙連埤）有交通事故，到場時發現一男子倒地，其他車友不認識他，身上又無證件；經送醫急救，醫生於8時59分宣告死亡。
家屬於臉書，看到其他車友po文得知訊息，致電警方確認是頭城林姓男子；對於這起意外，另有一說是猴群攻擊造成的意外，但無法獲得證實，由警方調查中。
